DermaRad Relief Post Radiation Calming Serum with 3% Lidocaine

$45.00

DermaRad Relief® Post Radiation Calming Serum with 3% lidocaine has been specifically designed for use by cancer patients whose skin has been damaged, abraded or blistered by radiation treatments. Because it is a silicone based product without soap-like emulsifiers, it can be applied to damaged skin with no discomfort or stinging. In addition, the serum contains 3% lidocaine to rapidly relieve burn pain. Finally, the high level of moisturizing oils help reduce water loss and provide soothing relief for damaged skin. Antioxidants in the serum fight free radicals to calm and improve skin appearance. 1.7oz

INGREDIENTS

Cyclomethicone (and) Dimethiconol, Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Squalane, Simmondsia, Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Petrolatum, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Dimethicone, 4-Propyl Guaiacol, 4-Propenyl Guaiacol Acetate, DC Violet 2, DO Green 6

HOW TO USE

For patients who have started radiation treatments and whose skin is already red, burned or blistered, DermaRad Relief Post Radiation Calming Serum is an ideal product to apply to damaged skin. The silicone based Serum easily glides onto the skin with no effort and no rubbing necessary. Because of the high level of moisturizing oils in the product it will immediately soothe red and even blistered skin.
This product can be applied liberally as often as needed to soothe and moisturize the area of skin being irradiated, but use should be discontinued 4 hours before any radiation treatment. Since this product is not as strong as DermaRad Relief Topical Rehydrating Emulsion, the Rehydrating Emulsion should be used throughout all of the radiation treatments to maximize the moisturizing and rehydrating benefits of the lotion. However, to avoid any temporary stinging to damaged skin caused by the emulsifiers in the DermaRad Relief Topical Rehydrating Emulsion, the Calming Serum can be applied to the irradiated area first as a "pre-treatment" and once it has been allowed to absorb into the skin, DermaRad Relief Topical Rehydrating Emulsion should then be applied to the same area.
For further instructions please refer to the brochure included with the product.

What It Does

DermaRad Relief Post Radiation Calming Serum has been designed for use by cancer patients that experience cosmetic skin problems such as redness and dryness that can be addressed by moisturizing skin care products. This serum provides superior fast-absorbing moisturization without the “greasy” or “tacky” feel of other moisturizers. In addition, this product contains 3 skin-friendly moisturizing oils partitioned into a cosmetic silicone base. Finally, because it is a silicone-based product, Calming Serum contains no emulsifying agents (soap-like chemicals), which are found in all lotions and creams, but which can sting or irritate extremely sensitive and damaged skin. Because there are no emulsifying agents in this silicone-based product, Calming Serum is gentle enough to be applied as often as needed to any area of skin, even abraded or blistered skin, to moisturize the skin and prevent dehydration.

WHY USE OUR DERMARAD RELIEF SYSTEM?

Cancer patients undergoing radiation treatment will likely experience significant cosmetic skin problems such as dryness, skin roughness and redness. These conditions typically worsen as radiation treatments progress. To help maintain a healthy looking skin, patients need to use creams or lotions that provide extremely high levels of moisturizing oils, humectants, and antioxidants. DermaRad Relief Rehydrating Emulsion was specifically designed to meet the skin care needs of radiation patients. This unique formulation utilizes gentle, skin friendly oils and humectants resulting in a highly moisturizing lotion that is soothing and gentle to sensitive and damaged skin. In addition, the patented antioxidants in DermaRad Relief are potent inhibitors of surface free radicals.

Wonderfully effective

I have been buying this for my relatives who are going through radiation treatment. Their report is excellent as is the report of the medical personnel treating them. Their comment is their skin looks like babies’ skin when it should be burned and irritated. It is a miracle cream.
